The women’s hockey team is off to a fast start this season with a record of 3-0-1 heading into tonight’s game against New Hampshire.
The team’s resiliency was displayed on Tuesday’s game against Niagara, when the team came back from a 3-0 deficit and went on to beat Niagara 6-3. “No one was stressed or nervous. We knew we could do it. We weren’t playing out game.” Mel Desrochers ’14.
When asked about the team’s chemistry, Captain Karell Emard ’11 said, “It just happened! The team connected quickly. We have a great freshman class, and there doesn’t seem to be jealousy between the players.”
The team must remain composed and not get too comfortable in their winning ways. The Saints have a tough upcoming schedule, starting off with tonight’s game against New Hampshire and into the following weeks, which includes nationally-ranked number six Boston University Saturday at 2 p.m.
