Dr. Ruckus are set to rock the house this weekend at The First Ever Third Annual Great Mount Titus North Country Global Cool Down Weekend Event — rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it?
The seven piece band hailing from Burlington, VT are scheduled to perform in the Titus Lodge at around 8:00 pm, February 18. According to the band’s official Facebook page, the funk band was “brought together by a common love of live, improvisational music.”
On their Myspace, the band features songs such as “Hot Pants Breakdown,” “Gin & Tonic for a Gypsy,” “Flamingo Falafel,” and “Boob Job,” the latter a nine-minute jazz-fusion ode to “the silicone.” The band recently released a 5-track EP.
The event is sponsored by the Outing Club who are borrowing some Java personnel to ensure the performance goes without a hitch.
